By continuing to use our Services, you confirm that:

  • You have read these Terms;
  • You understand them;
  • You agree to comply with them;
  • Information you provide to Scalelab is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the relevant Services.

Certain programs may have additional terms. Where program-specific terms conflict with these general Terms, the program-specific terms will normally apply to that particular service.

3. Eligibility

You may use Scalelab Services if you are legally capable of entering into an agreement under applicable law.

Where a User is under the age of 18, participation may require the consent or involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

By allowing a minor to use Scalelab Services, the parent or guardian accepts responsibility for the minor’s participation and compliance with these Terms.

Some programs may also have specific eligibility requirements concerning:

  • Age;
  • Education;
  • Professional background;
  • Startup ownership;
  • Business stage;
  • Country;
  • Industry;
  • Language ability;
  • Technology requirements.

Meeting minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee admission to a selective program.

4. Account Registration

Certain Scalelab Services may require a user account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate registration information;
  • Keep your information reasonably updated;
  • Protect your password and authentication details;
  • Prevent unauthorized use of your account;
  • Notify Scalelab if you suspect unauthorized access.

You are responsible for activities performed through your account unless they result directly from circumstances under Scalelab’s control.

Scalelab may restrict, suspend, or reset an account where we reasonably suspect:

  • Unauthorized use;
  • Credential sharing;
  • Security risks;
  • Fraud;
  • Violation of these Terms.

5. Personal and Authorized Use

Unless Scalelab gives written permission otherwise, access to courses and paid learning materials is granted to the individual or organization that purchased or received the relevant access.

You may not:

  • Share your paid account with unauthorized users;
  • Resell course access;
  • Publicly distribute paid content;
  • Upload paid materials to file-sharing platforms;
  • Record and redistribute live classes without permission;
  • Copy entire courses;
  • Reproduce Scalelab resources commercially;
  • Sell Scalelab materials as your own;
  • Remove copyright or ownership notices.

Corporate, institutional, trainer, reseller, or licensing arrangements may be governed by separate written agreements.

6. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, Scalelab owns or lawfully uses all intellectual property associated with its Services, including:

  • Course content;
  • Videos;
  • Presentations;
  • Templates;
  • Training methodologies;
  • Frameworks;
  • Brand materials;
  • Graphics;
  • Logos;
  • Website content;
  • Assessments;
  • Software;
  • Learning resources.

Your purchase of a course or service gives you a limited right to access and use the relevant materials for the purpose for which access was granted.

It does not transfer ownership of Scalelab intellectual property to you.

You may not reproduce, modify, publish, sell, sublicense, commercially exploit, or redistribute Scalelab Content without written permission.

7. User-Generated Content

You may submit content to Scalelab, including:

  • Assignments;

  • Projects;
  • Business plans;
  • Pitch decks;
  • Startup profiles;
  • Designs;
  • Videos;
  • Portfolio materials;
  • Feedback;
  • Community posts.

You retain ownership of content that legally belongs to you.

By submitting content where publication, review, assessment, mentoring, or program delivery requires it, you give Scalelab a limited right to store, process, display, reproduce, and share that content as reasonably necessary to provide the relevant service.

Scalelab does not automatically acquire ownership of your startup idea, business plan, pitch deck, invention, design, or other intellectual property merely because you submit it for evaluation or mentoring.

If Scalelab wishes to commercially use participant work outside the ordinary delivery or promotion of a program, additional permission may be requested where appropriate.

8. Confidential Startup Information

Founders participating in accelerator, consulting, mentoring, or startup programs may submit commercially sensitive information.

Scalelab will take reasonable steps to handle such information appropriately.

However, Users should not assume that participation automatically creates a formal non-disclosure agreement.

If highly confidential information is involved, Users should request a separate confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement before disclosure.

Founders should exercise judgment before sharing:

  • Trade secrets;
  • Passwords;
  • Private API keys;
  • Undisclosed source code;
  • Customer passwords;
  • Sensitive personal data;
  • Confidential third-party data.

9. Acceptable Use

You must use Scalelab Services lawfully and responsibly.

You may not use the Services to:

  • Commit fraud;
  • Impersonate another person;
  • Harass or threaten another User;
  • Distribute malware;
  • Attempt unauthorized access;
  • Circumvent security controls;

  • Manipulate assessments dishonestly;
  • Disrupt classes, events, communities, or platforms;
  • Engage in activities prohibited by applicable law.

Scalelab may remove content or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect Users, systems, intellectual property, or legal rights.

10. Courses and Learning Services

Course descriptions normally explain the:

  • Subject;
  • Expected content;
  • Format;
  • Delivery method;
  • Instructor where applicable;
  • Duration;
  • Learning outcomes;
  • Fees.

Scalelab may update course materials to improve quality, accuracy, or relevance.

Minor changes to lessons, instructors, schedules, teaching methods, examples, platforms, or resources do not automatically entitle a User to a refund.

Where a major change materially affects a purchased service, Scalelab will determine an appropriate solution in accordance with the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

11. Learning Outcomes

Scalelab provides education, training, mentoring, and development opportunities.

However, learning results depend on many factors, including:

  • Participation;
  • Practice;
  • Prior knowledge;
  • Effort;
  • Market conditions;
  • Personal circumstances.

Therefore, Scalelab does not guarantee that completing a course will result in:

  • Employment;
  • Freelance income;
  • Business success;
  • Investment;
  • Revenue;
  • Promotion;
  • Certification by another organization;
  • Admission to another institution;
  • Particular examination results.

Any examples of success, earnings, business growth, or career outcomes are illustrative unless specifically guaranteed in writing.

12. Webinars, Workshops and Bootcamps

Scheduled programs may have specific:

  • Dates;
  • Times;
  • Attendance requirements;
  • Seat limits;
  • Instructor arrangements;
  • Participation rules.

Users are responsible for attending at the scheduled time and maintaining suitable internet access and equipment for online participation.

A failure to attend does not automatically create a right to a refund.

Recordings may be provided where stated, but Scalelab does not guarantee that every live session will be recorded.

13. Accelerator Programs

Scalelab may operate accelerator, startup builder, incubation, founder development, market-entry, and similar programs.

Participation may involve:

  • Startup evaluation;
  • Pitching;
  • Networking;
  • Business development;
  • Market research;
  • Partner introductions;
  • Investment readiness;
  • International expansion support.

Admission to a program does not guarantee:

  • Investment;
  • Revenue;
  • Commercial partnerships;
  • Customer acquisition;
  • Successful fundraising;
  • Government incentives;
  • Business registration;
  • Accelerator graduation.

Final business decisions remain the responsibility of the founder.

  • Application preparation;
  • Business planning;
  • Document guidance;
  • Startup readiness;
  • Market-entry training;
  • Partner or ecosystem introductions.

Unless explicitly stated in a written agreement, Scalelab does not act as a government authority, embassy, immigration authority, visa decision-maker, or regulator.

Participation does not guarantee:

  • Visa approval;
  • Residency;
  • Work authorization;
  • Government endorsement;
  • Business registration;
  • Grant approval;
  • Investment;
  • Admission to an overseas accelerator.

Government agencies and third-party organizations make their own decisions under their applicable rules.

Users remain responsible for verifying current immigration, legal, tax, licensing, investment, and regulatory requirements.

15. No Professional Advice

Educational content provided by Scalelab should not automatically be treated as individualized:

  • Legal advice;
  • Tax advice;
  • Financial advice;
  • Investment advice;
  • Immigration advice;
  • Medical advice;
  • Regulatory advice.

Scalelab may teach concepts within these areas, but Users should obtain advice from appropriately qualified professionals where decisions require professional judgment.

16. Mentors, Trainers and Experts

Scalelab may engage employees, freelancers, trainers, mentors, consultants, industry experts, and partner organizations.

Opinions expressed by individual instructors or experts may reflect their professional judgment and do not necessarily represent an official Scalelab position.

Mentoring and consulting typically provide guidance rather than guaranteed outcomes.

Users remain responsible for their final business, career, financial, or operational decisions.

17. Artificial Intelligence Services

Scalelab may use AI-assisted tools as part of its educational and business services.

AI may be used for:

  • Learning assistance;
  • Content suggestions;
  • Course development;
  • Translation;
  • Summarization;
  • Assessment support;
  • Startup analysis;
  • Workflow automation;
  • Business research;
  • Productivity;
  • Customer support.

AI-generated information may contain errors.

Users should verify important AI-generated information before relying on it, particularly for legal, financial, regulatory, immigration, medical, or major business decisions.

The current 10 Minute School terms similarly contain a dedicated AI policy warning that AI outputs are not guaranteed to be fully accurate and should be verified. (10minuteschool.com)

18. Responsible Use of AI

Users must not use Scalelab AI-enabled features to:

  • Conduct unlawful activities;
  • Facilitate fraud;
  • Generate malicious code;
  • Violate intellectual property;
  • Harass others;
  • Circumvent assessments dishonestly;

  • Intentionally generate or spread harmful misinformation.

Scalelab may restrict access to AI features where misuse occurs.

Third-party systems may occasionally experience interruptions or changes outside Scalelab’s control.

Use of those platforms may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

20. Technical Requirements

Users are responsible for maintaining suitable:

  • Internet connectivity;
  • Devices;
  • Browsers;
  • Software;
  • Audio/video equipment where required.

Scalelab will make reasonable efforts to support commonly used devices and technologies but cannot guarantee compatibility with every device, browser, operating system, network, or third-party software configuration.

21. Fees and Payments

Prices for Scalelab Services will normally be displayed or communicated before purchase.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Fees are payable in the currency displayed;
  • Full payment may be required before access;
  • Promotional prices may be temporary;
  • Discounts cannot necessarily be combined;
  • Prices may differ between programs;
  • Future prices may change.

A price change after you complete a valid purchase does not normally affect that completed purchase.

22. Taxes and Charges

Users are responsible for any taxes, bank fees, currency conversion charges, payment gateway charges, or similar charges legally applicable to their transaction unless Scalelab specifically states that these are included.

23. Cancellation and Refunds

Refunds and cancellations are governed by Scalelab’s separate Cancellation & Refund Policy.

For eligible standard learning purchases, Scalelab generally permits a refund request within 48 hours of payment, subject to the conditions, usage limits, and exclusions stated in that policy.

Refund eligibility may differ for:

  • Webinars;
  • Live programs;
  • Bootcamps;
  • Accelerator programs;
  • International programs;
  • Digital downloads;
  • Administrative fees;
  • Third-party fees.

Where a specific program publishes different refund terms, those specific terms take precedence.

24. Digital Products

Some products may be delivered immediately after purchase, including:

  • E-books;
  • Templates;
  • Downloadable documents;
  • Toolkits;
  • Digital resources.

Where the product is identified as non-refundable before purchase, no refund will normally be available after it has been accessed or downloaded, except where required by applicable law.

25. Certificates

Scalelab may issue certificates where stated in the relevant program.

Certificate eligibility may depend on:

  • Attendance;
  • Course completion;
  • Assessments;
  • Assignments;
  • Projects;
  • Payment status;
  • Program requirements.

Scalelab may decline, withdraw, or correct a certificate where it was obtained through:

  • Fraud;
  • Cheating;
  • Identity misrepresentation;
  • Technical error;
  • Violation of program rules.

A Scalelab certificate represents completion or achievement under Scalelab’s stated requirements. It should not be interpreted as a government-issued qualification unless explicitly stated otherwise.

26. Assessments and Academic Integrity

Users participating in assessments must follow applicable assessment rules.

Unless explicitly allowed, Users may not:

  • Have another person complete an assessment;
  • Copy another learner’s work;
  • Submit plagiarized work;
  • Manipulate assessment systems;
  • Use unauthorized materials;
  • Misrepresent their identity.

Where AI use is permitted, Users should follow the particular course or assessment rules concerning AI assistance.

27. Community and Discussion Areas

Scalelab may provide discussion forums, groups, chats, communities, or networking spaces.

Users remain responsible for what they post.

Scalelab may remove content or restrict participation where content is:

  • Abusive;
  • Spam;
  • Misleading;
  • Unlawful;
  • Infringing;
  • Disruptive;
  • Inappropriate for the community.

Scalelab is not responsible for agreements, transactions, investments, employment arrangements, or business relationships Users independently establish with other community members.

28. Photography and Recording

Scalelab may record or photograph classes, webinars, workshops, accelerator activities, demo days, networking events, and public programs.

Such materials may be used for:

  • Program documentation;
  • Learning resources;
  • Reports;
  • Social media;
  • Website content;
  • Marketing;
  • Promotional materials.

Where individual consent is legally or reasonably required, Scalelab will seek appropriate permission.

Participants should notify Scalelab in advance where they have a specific concern about appearing in photographs or recordings.

29. Communications

By registering with Scalelab, you agree that we may contact you regarding the Services you use through channels such as:

  • Email;
  • SMS;
  • Phone;
  • WhatsApp;
  • Platform notifications.

These communications may include:

  • Payment confirmations;
  • Registration information;
  • Class reminders;
  • Program notices;
  • Service updates;
  • Certificates;
  • Support messages.

Marketing communications may also be sent where permitted. Users may opt out of promotional messages while still receiving essential service communications.

30. External Links

Scalelab Content may link to third-party websites, software, research, government portals, funding platforms, or other resources.

Links are provided for convenience, education, or reference.

Scalelab does not automatically endorse or control those third-party resources and is not responsible for their availability, content, privacy practices, or services.

31. Service Availability

Scalelab aims to provide reliable access to its Services but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of:

  • Maintenance;
  • Hosting issues;
  • Internet outages;
  • Software problems;
  • Cybersecurity incidents;
  • Third-party service failures;
  • Events beyond reasonable control.

Where practical, Scalelab will attempt to restore affected Services within a reasonable period.

32. Changes to Services

Scalelab may update, modify, expand, replace, suspend, or discontinue parts of its Services.

This may include changes to:

  • Course content;
  • Features;
  • Platforms;
  • Schedules;
  • Trainers;
  • Program structures;
  • Technology.

Where a major change materially reduces a paid service already purchased, Scalelab will determine an appropriate remedy under the relevant terms and refund policy.

33. Suspension and Termination

Scalelab may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where a User:

  • Violates these Terms;
  • Misuses course content;
  • Shares account access improperly;
  • Harasses participants;
  • Engages in fraud;
  • Attacks or compromises systems;
  • Violates intellectual property rights;
  • Fails to make required payments;
  • Seriously disrupts a program.

Where appropriate, Scalelab may provide notice or an opportunity to correct the issue before termination.

Serious security, fraud, unlawful activity, or abuse cases may justify immediate action.

34. Termination by the User

Users may stop using Scalelab Services at any time.

Stopping use does not automatically create a refund right.

Refund eligibility remains governed by the applicable Cancellation & Refund Policy and program-specific terms.

35. Disclaimer

Scalelab provides Services in good faith and makes reasonable efforts to ensure educational content is useful and accurate.

However, information, technologies, regulations, markets, government programs, software platforms, and business conditions can change.

Accordingly, unless explicitly guaranteed in writing, Scalelab does not warrant that:

  • Every piece of information will always remain current;
  • Services will be completely error-free;
  • Every User will achieve the same outcome;
  • A particular business strategy will succeed;
  • Third-party platforms will remain available;
  • Government or external programs will remain unchanged.

Users should independently verify information where material decisions depend on it.

36. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Scalelab will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses arising solely from use of the Services.

This may include losses related to:

  • Business opportunities;
  • Profit;
  • Investment;
  • Data;
  • Employment opportunities;
  • Third-party decisions;
  • Visa outcomes;
  • Market changes.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability where exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

37. User Responsibility

You remain responsible for decisions you make using information obtained through Scalelab.

This is especially important for decisions concerning:

  • Investment;
  • Business formation;
  • Employment;
  • Contracts;
  • Immigration;
  • Tax;
  • Finance;
  • Compliance;
  • Intellectual property.

Scalelab training may support your decision-making but does not remove your responsibility to conduct appropriate due diligence.

38. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims or losses arising from your:

  • Unlawful use of Scalelab Services;
  • Material violation of these Terms;
  • Infringement of third-party intellectual property;
  • Unauthorized use of another person’s information;
  • Fraudulent activity.

This provision does not apply to losses primarily caused by Scalelab’s own unlawful conduct.

39. Privacy

Use of Scalelab Services is also governed by the Scalelab Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how Scalelab may collect, use, store, process, and disclose Personal Information.

By using our Services, you acknowledge that relevant Personal Information may be processed as described in that policy

40. Program-Specific Agreements

Certain Services may require additional agreements.

Examples include:

  • Accelerator participation agreements;
  • Consulting agreements;
  • Corporate training agreements;
  • Partnership agreements;
  • International founder programs;
  • Scholarship programs;
  • Mentorship agreements;
  • Competitions;
  • Sponsored programs.

Where such an agreement is executed, its specific provisions will take precedence over these Terms in relation to the subject covered by that agreement.

41. Force Majeure

Scalelab will not be treated as having breached these Terms where performance is materially prevented by events outside its reasonable control.

These may include:

  • Natural disasters;
  • Flood;
  • Fire;
  • War;
  • Civil unrest;
  • Government restrictions;
  • Major telecommunications outages;
  • Widespread internet disruption;
  • Epidemics;
  • Platform-wide technology failures.

Scalelab will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption where practicable.

42. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of Bangladesh.

The current reference Terms from 10 Minute School similarly provide that its contractual legal matters are governed by Bangladeshi law and subject to relevant courts in Dhaka. (10minuteschool.com)

43. Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction

If a dispute arises, Scalelab and the User should first attempt to resolve it through direct communication in good faith.

Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties may pursue mediation, arbitration, or other lawful dispute-resolution procedures where mutually agreed or legally applicable.

If court proceedings become necessary, they will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

44. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable by a competent authority, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent legally possible.

45. No Waiver

Failure by Scalelab to immediately enforce a provision of these Terms does not mean Scalelab permanently waives the right to enforce that provision later.

46. No Partnership or Employment Relationship

Participation in a Scalelab course, community, internship, accelerator, mentorship, or founder program does not by itself establish:

  • Employment;
  • Partnership;
  • Agency;
  • Franchise;
  • Joint venture.

Any such relationship must be established separately in writing.

47. Assignment

Users may not transfer their rights to paid Scalelab Services to another person without authorization.

Scalelab may transfer relevant contractual rights or obligations as part of a lawful restructuring, acquisition, merger, sale, or transfer of its business.

48. Feedback

Users may provide suggestions, reviews, ideas, or feedback about Scalelab.

Unless otherwise agreed, Scalelab may use general feedback to improve its products and services without creating a payment obligation to the User.

This does not grant Scalelab ownership of confidential startup information or separately protected intellectual property merely because it was provided during a program.

49. Changes to These Terms

Scalelab may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms will normally be published with a revised Last Updated date.

For material changes affecting an ongoing paid service, additional notice may be provided where appropriate.

Continued use of Scalelab Services after updated Terms become effective may constitute acceptance of those updated Terms, subject to applicable law.

50. Entire Agreement

These Terms should be read together with:

  • Scalelab Privacy Policy
  • Scalelab Cancellation & Refund Policy
  • Any specific course or program terms
  • Any separate written agreement applicable to the Service

Together, these documents constitute the applicable agreement between Scalelab and the User in relation to the relevant Service.
