Fintech and Digital Financial Services
About Course
Financial services affect almost every person and business, yet customers still face costly payments, weak access, slow processes, limited credit, poor transparency and products that do not fit their lives. Many fintech ideas fail because founders build an interface before understanding financial behaviour, regulated activities, trust and institutional dependencies. This course helps learners turn a verified financial problem into a responsible, compliance-aware and commercially credible enterprise.
You will investigate consumers, merchants, SMEs and institutions; size the market; design trustworthy customer journeys; select appropriate infrastructure; and build a viable business and brand. You will create and test an MVP, map licensing, design AML/KYC, fraud and cybersecurity controls, plan operations and prepare an institutional pilot. Every section produces a portfolio asset, from the venture thesis and customer evidence to the sandbox workflow, compliance roadmap, financial model and customer pipeline.
By the end, you will become a fintech entrepreneur with a visible enterprise—not merely a business idea. Your final portfolio will include a public landing page, tested MVP, customer evidence, business and brand, licensing pathway, AML/KYC and cybersecurity controls, pilot proposal, financial snapshot, global sandbox and funding pipeline, pitch deck and 90-day launch roadmap. Successful learners receive a Scalelab Academy certificate, lifetime course access, future updates and course-specific AI tools for research, market sizing, compliance mapping, financial modelling, funding discovery and pitch preparation.
