Healthtech and Healthcare Entrepreneurship
About Course
Healthcare is full of urgent problems—unequal access, workforce pressure, fragmented journeys, administrative waste, rising costs and unmet patient needs. Yet promising ideas often fail because founders build before understanding patients, clinicians, buyers, payers, evidence and regulation. This course takes learners into the real healthcare system and helps them turn a verified problem into a responsible, evidence-aware and commercially credible enterprise.
You will investigate patients, providers, buyers and payers; size the market; design the solution; select appropriate technology; and build a viable business and brand. You will create and test an MVP, distinguish product validation from clinical evidence, map regulation and ethics, protect health data, design healthcare operations and prepare a measurable pilot. Every section produces a portfolio asset, from the venture thesis and stakeholder evidence to the MVP, evidence roadmap, financial model and customer pipeline.
By the end, you will become a healthtech or healthcare entrepreneur with a visible enterprise—not merely a business idea. Your final portfolio will include a public landing page, tested MVP, stakeholder evidence, business and brand, clinical-evidence roadmap, regulatory and data-protection pathway, pilot proposal, financial snapshot, global funding pipeline, pitch deck and 90-day launch roadmap. Successful learners receive a Scalelab Academy certificate, lifetime course access, future updates and course-specific AI tools for research, market sizing, evidence planning, financial modelling, funding discovery and pitch preparation.
